FIELD: nuclear power engineering; controlling fuel assembly and cluster grips in refueling nuclear reactors. SUBSTANCE: proposed design that can be used in refueling machine grip actuators provided with control elements actuated by separate rope drive has fuel assembly grip drum, cluster grip drum, and planetary gearing. Fuel assembly grip drum and cluster grip drum are mounted on common shaft; planetary gearing incorporating sun wheel and satellite with shaft is disposed within cluster grip drum; planetary gearing sun wheel is mounted inside shaft, and satellite shaft is fixed in its bosses.
