FIELD: military equipment, in particular, rifle-gun armament on transport facilities: ships, boats, motor armored vehicles, as well as stationary. SUBSTANCE: the pedestal-type weapon mount has a pedestal with a foundation, bearing-rotary device and an upper bedframe. A lead screw is installed in the cylindrical guide on the foundation, on which a tube is installed with the aid of a nut for helical motion. Provision is made for a locking device for fixation in the working positions in height, which represents a longitudinal groove made on the side wall of the tube and fasteners engageable with it. The tube together with the upper bedframe may change the height by a definite value with fixation in the height of the weapon sighting line. For adjustment of the height the distance between the fasteners in the locking device equals a half of the tube travel determined by two extreme working positions. The discreteness of adjustment in height is provided by the screw pitch on the lead screw. EFFECT: enhanced operating characteristics of the pedestal-type weapon mount, reduced weight and overall dimensions, provided adjustment of the mount height with a fixation in the working positions, each linked with the height of the weapon sighting line. 4 cl, 3 dwg
