SUBSTANCE: proposed crank-and-slotted link wedge operating mechanism has driving member is form of crankshaft and structure groups, drive and operating ones. Operating group is made in form of slide block with link carrying movable part of tool. Drive group is made in form of connecting rod hinge-coupled with drive link and lever rigidly connected with eccentric shaft of operating structure group. Value of eccentricity of eccentric neck of eccentric shaft of operating structure group exceeds value of eccentricity of crank of drive crankshaft and is less than length of lever. Lever is hinge-coupled through connecting rod with drive link of drive structure group and eccentric shaft of operating structure group. Axis of eccentric neck of eccentric shaft and axis of small end of connecting rod are located on one straight line with axis of rotation of support necks of eccentric shaft.
