SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to dentistry and concerns dental composition and method of its application. Curable dental composition comprises: a) at least one dental resin containing at least two ethylenically unsaturated group; b) addition-fragmentation agent, represented by compound of formula (I)

where R¹, R² and R³ each independently represents Z_m-Q-, Y_p-Q′-, (hetero)alkyl group or (hetero)aryl group provided that at least one of R¹, R² and R³ represents Z_m-Q-, and provided that at least one of R¹, R² and R³ represents Y_p-Q′-; or R¹, R² and R³ each independently represents Z_m-Q-, Y_p-Q′-, (hetero)alkyl group or (hetero)aryl group provided that at least one of R¹, R² and R³ contains both Z_m-Q- and Y_p-Q′-; where Q is covalent bond or binding group, having valence m+1; Q′ is covalent bond or binding group, having valence p+1; Z is polymerisable ethylenically unsaturated group; Y is functional group which binds with or etches tooth structure, on which there is curable dental composition; m is 1-6; p denotes 1 or 2; each X¹ independently represents -O- or -NR⁴-, where R⁴ represents H or C₁-C₄alkyl, and n is 0 or 1. Method of processing tooth surface includes placement of above composition on surface of tooth in individual's oral cavity and its hardening.

EFFECT: using group of inventions provides low deflection when testing load during hardening resinous composition at maintaining sufficient depth of hardening.
