FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy, production of aluminum by electrolysis of molten salts. SUBSTANCE: technical result of invention lies in reduced consumption of electric energy and in increased productivity of electrolyzer by 1-2%. Process includes supply of current to anode from current-feeding uprights by rows of anode posts connected to anode buses. Current is fed over anode buses of adjacent rows over entire length of current lead to anode from opposite current-feeding uprights. Current from current-feeding uprights of output butt of electrolyzer is supplied to internal rows of anode posts displaying lesser resistance of current led to anode.
