FIELD: mechanical engineering; short-absorbing systems with plastically deformable members. SUBSTANCE: proposed shock-absorbing suspension consists of two shock-absorbing cylindrical strakes; each strake holds elongated members made from plastic material. Elongated members are made in form of beam-type shock absorbers ensuring shift of body of article under protection relative to body of protective container in case of action of impact force. Each shock-absorbing cylindrical strake is provided with flanges; one flange is brought outside beyond clearance limits of body of article under protection and is rigidly secured on body of protective container; ends of beam-type shock absorbers are also connected to said flange. Second end of beam-type shock absorber is secured to load- bearing ring fitted on body of article under protection for sliding over its surface; it is connected with second flange rigidly secured on flange located on body of article under protection through spring acting longitudinally on body of protective container under action of impact. EFFECT: possibility of bringing ends of shock absorbers beyond zone of their travel. 2 dwg
