FIELD: mining art, in particular, mining of hard rocks in restricted conditions, when it is necessary to prevent spreading of the exploded rock mass down a slope of ledges at re-activation of temporally non-mining flanks of open casts in highway engineering, etc. SUBSTANCE: for protection of the layer of rocks to be exploded use is made of a mobile explosion localizer including a carriage with a supporting platform provided with vertical and horizontal lattice frames, in which the lattice windows are covered with chain mats. The novelty in the installation is in the fact that the extreme section of the horizontal lattice frame is provided with a heavy chain mat hanged up on one side in its width. The length of the mat exceeds the length of the side slope of the ledge to be exploded. EFFECT: prevented dispersion of rock pieces at an explosion and first of all down of the slope of ledges. 2 dwg
