FIELD: development of seismic means for seismic studies. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to regional seismic investigations in water basins by methods of deep seismic sounding. Proposed seismic station includes aids positioning submerged module both on bottom and after rising to surface, which ensure reliable redundancy of facilities locating position. Antenna of underwater acoustic beacon is located on upper hemisphere of station container. Antenna of satellite radio navigation system and searching aids are mounted on lower hemisphere of container. Units in container are arranged so that center of gravity of container is displaced towards antenna of underwater acoustic beacon. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and reliability of location of position of underwater module both on sea bottom and after coming to surface. 13 cl, 4 dwg
