AGROBRIDGE Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: agrobridge has girder, self-propelled cars, guides for displacement of agricultural units along girder by means of drive, control cabin, auxiliary and power equipment. Platforms are made in the form of rigid rectangular boxes free of end wall. Each box has guiding tracks fixed on its bottom and equipped with sides for displacement and retaining of large-sized agricultural tool wheels. Folding-back ladders are fixed at guiding track ends. Bracket with spring-loaded rod is fixed on box bottom for repositioning and adapted for engagement with opening formed on supporting column fixed on agricultural tool hitch tongue. Box has motor-reducer hung on bar and equipped with splined tail end. Motor-reducer bar has turnbuckle, and its lower end is connected to motor-reducer and upper end is positioned for displacement along guide. Bars are fixed on girder of agrobridge for movement in vertical plane by means of motor-reducer through chain embracing sprockets-nuts, which are engageable with thread formed on bars. Lower ends of bars are adapted for engagement with electric grips secured on boxes. Two rubberized rolls with two drop shields above rolls and motor-reducer for driving one of said rubberized rolls are attached to bottom of each box.
