FIELD: scouring machines. SUBSTANCE: proposed scouring machine has housing, intake branch pipe, vertical shaft with abrasive working members mounted radially and made in form of bars smoothly distributed around shaft for performing radial motion, cylinder secured on housing embracing the working members, discharge and outlet branch pipes and mechanism for control of clearance between abrasive surface and cylinder. Working members are turned through acute angle formed by tangential line and working side of abrasive member. Cylinder is provided with alternating abrasive bars and perforated inserts. Friction bars are mounted at obtuse angle formed by tangential line and working side of friction bar for radial motion. EFFECT: enhanced operational efficiency. 2 dwg
