FIELD: helicopters and their safety systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed helicopter includes fuselage, pilot cabin, passenger cabin with seats, luggage section and other parts and units. Helicopter is provided with cross-members located under passenger cabin floor and rigidly connected with fuselage skeleton. Emergency protective system mounted in upper portion of passenger cabin includes six struts located on sides of fuselage and rigidly secured to its skeleton. Fitted on upper ends of struts is shock absorbing screen made in form of longitudinal and transversal cords terminating in loops. Upper sheet is secured on upper surface of said screen and two lower laminated sheets are secured on lower surface. Cord of screen and upper sheet are made from elastic material; one layer of lower laminated sheet is made from elastic sponge material, rubber for example and second thickened layer is made from porolon. Seats are located along sides of passenger cabin and are connected with struts by telescopic scheme. Lower surfaces of seats and upper surface of passenger cabin floor are provided with sockets in which springs are arranged. Footrests are articulated to front portion of seats. Luggage section extends over entire length of tail section of fuselage. In case of drop of helicopter, screen protects passengers against fragments of structures and impact is absorbed by springs of seats. EFFECT: enhanced safety of passengers. 4 dwg
