PARALLEL-SLIDE GATE VALVE WITH SHORT GATE Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: wellhead fittings+ADs- oil and gas industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed parallel-slide gate valve with short gate includes body, cover, spindle and shut-off member-gate. Gate is located between seats which are made in form of two rings received by bores of body and fixed below their flow-through hole on side of bottom of body by means of strut. Seats are spring-loaded and are mounted according to gate. Strut consists of base and stop. Base is made in form of ring and stop is made in form of stepped shaft. Base and stop are fixed relative to each other by means of ring made from flexible material, rubber for example. EFFECT: enhanced reliability+ADs- increased service life of gate. 3 cl, 2 dwg
