FIELD: fire-fighting equipment, namely extinguishing fires in vented chambers, particularly on aircraft board. SUBSTANCE: system includes fire detector, trigger device, fire-extinguishing substance source for supplying fire-extinguishing substance on one or several stages of fire extinguishment and device for introducing fire-extinguishing substance into vent channel communicating vented chamber with atmosphere. Device for introducing fire-extinguishing substance into vent channel is preferably formed as single nozzle or nozzle block located tangentially to channel axis for reliable gas-dynamical blocking air channel during system actuation. Device for introducing fire-extinguishing substance into vented channel is made as vortex valve and vortex ejector, which are connected with high voltage source. The system also has additional detector for emergency switching on. EFFECT: increased fire-extinguishing efficiency, increased aircraft survivability in emergency conditions. 5 cl, 3 dwg
