FIELD: electrochemical marking of parts. SUBSTANCE: tool-electrode includes electrically conductive base and symbols formed of magnetic rheological liquid onto working surface of said base. Said symbols are formed due to dipping into magnetic rheological liquid working surface of tool-electrode. At process of forming symbols creating in tool-electrode magnetic field by means of electromagnets arranged at its opposite side and having cores in the form of detachable symbols of applied information made of magnetically soft material. After forming symbols removing excess of magnetic rheological liquid. EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities allowing to mark complex-shape surfaces and to apply changeable information with use of the same tool-electrode. 2 cl, 1 dwg
