FIELD: food industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for fastening straws to drink packs in which said straws are delivered in form of tape with straws, said tape being provided with adhesive layer. Feeding device, at least in place where cutting device cuts off straw, is provided-with cavity whose position in height corresponds to position in height of adhesive layer, and extent in height corresponds to width of adhesive layer. Invention relates also to method of fastening drinking straws to containers with drink in which tape with straws is cut into parts between each two straws by cutting device in zone of feeding device. Cutting device passes through adhesive layer and tape with straws and gets into cavity made on feeding device whose position in height corresponds to position in height of adhesive layer and extent in height corresponds to at least width of adhesive tape. Invention precludes sticking of tape with straws or feeding device at cutting of tape with straws. EFFECT: decreased violation of straw sticking process, improved reliability in operation. 12 cl, 4 dwg
