FIELD: domestic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composition of a candle based on paraffin and small additions of polyethylene of high density and/or stereoregular polypropylene. The composite comprises polyformaldehyde with molecular mass from 240 to 120 000 Da and benzyl alcohol in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: paraffin, 97.0-99.55; polyethylene of high density and/or stereoregular polypropylene, 0.05-2.0; polyformaldehyde, 0.2-0.5; benzyl alcohol, 0.2-0.5. Invention provides conferring bactericidal and disinfecting properties to candle combustion products. EFFECT: valuable properties of candle composite. 24 ex
