FIELD: extraction of substances with the help of sorbents. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method of sorption of wolfram (VI) from water solutions, that may be used in fields of extraction of substances with use of sorbents and may find application in nonferrous metallurgy and in iron and steel industry as well as for purification of industrial and household waste water. The technical result of the invention is determination of optimum conditions for a fast and efficient method of extraction of ions of wolfram (VI) from a water solution. Before sorption anion exchanger is exposed to the acid, water or alkaline treatment; the sorption process is conducted using the anion exchanger containing exchange groups -CH2-N+=, at pH > 5 and time interval of no more than 5 hours. At preliminary water or alkaline treatment of anion exchanger the sorption is conducted at pH =7-9. EFFECT: the invention allows to determine the optimum conditions for a fast and efficient method of extraction of ions of wolfram (VI) from a water solution. 6 dwg, 3 ex
