FIELD: military equipment, applicable in development of jet projectiles of volume-detonating action. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in delivery of a volume-detonating warhead, containing also liquid components, to the target, during this period activation of its liquid components occurs by cavitation bubbles due to vibration-wave actions produced by a powder generator, mainly by the sustainer or (and) zero-stage jet engine; the warhead uses a volume-detonating charge positioned in the body, connected through a waveguide to the generator of vibration-wave actions produced by the sustainer and (or) zero-stage jet engine, and the waveguide - cavitator is formed by the warhead body connected to the generator body through hollow cylinders that are made of the same metal as the bodies of the connected compartments with the wall thickness larger than or equal to the wall thickness of the warhead, the hollow cylinders are provided with outer or inner radial lugs.
