FIELD: military equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to weapons and military equipment, namely to warheads with volume detonating charges and high-explosive fragmentation warheads of missiles. In shell of warhead of jet shell there is a volumetric-detonating charge of ignition-explosive charge. It is attached by one end to the bottom of the warhead housing along its axis, and by the other end – to the volumetric-detonating charge. In the housing there is also a bottom fuse. Combat part housing is formed by telescopically installed shell and bottom in each other. They are made in the form of cups interconnected by a tube with walls of variable thickness installed along the projectile axis. Volume-detonating charge is made of hardened volume-detonating mixture and is attached to inner surface of shell and external surface of tube. Free volume in the direction of projectile movement inside the body of the warhead is formed by the bottom and does not contact with the shell ring and the surface of the mixture. Ignition-explosive charge is placed inside the tube. At the same time end face of ignition-explosive charge turned in direction of projectile movement protrudes beyond end of volumetric-detonating charge not attached to housing of warhead.
EFFECT: increasing striking action of a warhead of a missile by increasing the speed and completeness of combustion of a volume-detonating charge and reducing the shielding effect of compartments adjacent to the warhead while reducing the weight of the device.
