FIELD: geodetic instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is meant for carrying out to nature such planes where plans and specifications provide for grades along two axes. Theodolite has bearing element with two side supports, cylindrical casing, two pairs of rotary levers anchored with one end on side supports and hinged with another to carriages on cylindrical casing, two sector gears put on rotation shafts of rotary levers, first worm anchored on support for interaction with both gears, vertical wheel placed on rotation axis of one of sector gears, telescope, joint of attachment and inclination of additional rotation axis of telescope, additional rotation axis of telescope, cylindrical element, second sector of worm wheel, second worm . Telescope is made fast to additional rotation axis and has camber in its middle part and two rhombic prisms inside. Joint of attachment and inclination of additional rotation axis of telescope has body occupying upper part of cylindrical casing. Cylindrical element is fixed in body for rotation around its axis perpendicular to axis of cylindrical casing. Additional rotation axis of telescope is mounted on cylindrical element perpendicular to rotation axis of cylindrical element. Second sector of worm wheel is made fast to cylindrical element and vertex of sector lies on rotation axis of cylindrical element. Second worm is mounted on body of cylindrical casing for interaction with sector of second worm wheel and carries handle on one end and its opposite end has gear which keeps kinematic coupling with counter. EFFECT: increased labor efficiency due to exclusion of preliminary computation of general grade out of work, determination of azimuthal direction of maximum grade on terrain. 3 dwg
