FIELD: automation and analog computer engineering. SUBSTANCE: rank filter has five relaters incorporating comparator, first and second closing and opening switches, respectively. Third through fifth relaters have comparator output connected to first input of Boolean EXCLUSIVE OR gate whose second input functions as control input in each of third through fifth relaters. Third and fourth comparators similar to first and second ones are introduced in first and second relaters and their outputs are connected to additional output at first and second relaters whose outputs and additional outputs are connected to respective inputs of third and fourth relaters whose outputs are connected to first and second inputs of fifth relater.
