FIELD: agricultural engineering.

SUBSTANCE: spreading apparatus has body with bottom made in the form of chain-plated conveyor. Grinding drum is arranged at body exit end and spreading drum is arranged above grinding drum. Spreading drum is equipped with intermittent helical coil. Portions of helical coil are made rod-like. Spreading drum is provided with chain fixed on cantilevered parts of rods and adapted for defining of alternating portions oriented in opposite directions and connected by portions arranged in longitudinal plane of drum. Distance between cantilevered portions of adjacent rods is smaller than length of chain parts fixed thereon. Rods have adjustable length.

EFFECT: increased uniformity of applying fertilizer over field surface, increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation of fertilizer spreading apparatus.
