SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in prophylaxis of complications in carrying out the herpes viral infection in damages of cornea. Method involves carrying out the conventional medicinal therapy. Method involves the additional prescription of α-interferon as sprinklings in the dose 1000 IU on the damaged cornea site for the first 3 days, 2 times per a day, and then once per a day for the following 3 days. Method provides preventing complications of herpes viral infection in damages of cornea.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of prophylactic method.
