FIELD: rocketry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed case of solid-propellant rocket engine is made with cover on inner end face of which igniter is mounted formed by rigid housing with orifices closed by diaphragms which accommodates pyrotechnical grains. One or two pyrotechnical cartridge are installed in seats on outer end face of cover coupled with rigid housing by reheat holes. Plug is fitted in leakage check socket. Outer end face of cover is formed by three planes whose normals are turned relative to cover axis through some angle, for instance, 15o. Leakage check socket and seats of pyrotechnical cartridges are made normal to said planes. Leakage check socket communicates through channel with space of igniter rigid housing. Inclined drilling opening into said channel is made from side of inner end face of cover. Length of plug is sufficient to overlap inclined drilling.
EFFECT: reduced dimensions and mass of case of solid-propellant rocket engine at increase of its reliability.
