FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: device to ignite a charge of a solid-propellant rocket engine comprises a perforated sleeve with a case installed inside and filled with a pyrotechnical compound and a gas supply tube with a pyrocartridge. The sleeve is installed coaxially to the gas supply tube and is closed with a cover to form an inner cavity between the end of the case and the wall of the cover, and this cavity is connected via an augmented channel with the gas supply tube. On the outer surface of the cover there is a circular reflector, between the wall of which and the end of the case in the side wall of the cover there are through channels, which connect the inner cavity with the volume of the combustion chamber of the solid-propellant rocket engine.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase reliability of ignition of a charge of a solid-propellant rocket engine.
