FIELD: mechanical engineering; balancing of revolving rotors.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device has platform for bodies to be balanced, correction mechanism and balancing unit. Balancing unit consists of two nuts screwed on threaded section of body coated with layer of fixing material; these nuts have rough lateral surfaces; they are provided with counter-weights secured on end faces. Correction mechanism is made in form of four elastic plates embracing the nuts in pairs at two mutually perpendicular planes; they are secured on these planes as cantilever. Free ends of said plates carry unbalanced masses and sections of surfaces of plates directed towards nuts are rough.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of balancing; increased productivity of process; extended functional capabilities.
