FIELD: mechanical engineering; protection of various objects against vibrations. SUBSTANCE: proposed damper includes rod rigidly connected with object under protection and oriented along direction of vibrations and elastic member secured perpendicularly to rod; elastic member carries mass for relative shift and fixation. Section on free end of rod is made in form of threaded shaft. Mass is made in form of nut screwed on shaft. Said nut has rough surface. Mounted on object under protection on both sides from nut are elastic plates which may be secured as cantilevers; center of mass of one of said plates is shifted relative to longitudinal axis of plate towards nut and center of mass of other plate is shifted to opposite side by means of rigid attachment to respective planes of plates of additional masses. Sections of surfaces of plates directed towards nut in area of threaded shaft are rough. EFFECT: complete automation of process of adjustment of damper; simplified construction; extended functional capabilities. 2 dwg
