FIELD: investigating strength properties of solid materials by application of mechanical stress, particularly micro-hardometers, which register diagrams of indenter impression into material in "force - indentation depth" coordinates.
SUBSTANCE: micro-hardometer has base with sample stage, post, cross-arm arranged on post, the first cup-like guider having axial orifice for intender insertion and carriage with changeable weights arranged in cup. Loading mechanism with force transducer is located in intender cavity. Magnetically operated motion transducer for intender motion sensing is located in lower cup part. Permanent magnet of motion transducer is arranged on inactive intender surface. Carriage with changeable weights may perform vertical motion by the first rigid arrestment link of loading drive unit formed as arrester arranged on upper thickened cup surface. Micro-hardometer additionally has the second guider formed as support and coaxially arranged into cup such that support may perform vertical motion relative cup, and the second arrestment link made as regulation micro-screw arranged at upper support end and served to release support from carriage during joining support with sample surface. Cup is fixed to cross-arm. Magnetically operated motion transducer is located in support body. Carriage with changeable weights and loading mechanism are coaxially arranged in support hollow and may be displaced in vertical direction relative thereof.
EFFECT: error prevention while measuring indentation depth of intender, increased productivity.
