STABILIZING APPARATUS FOR PULSE MODULATOR Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: high-voltage power sources, possibly in radio location, radio connection systems, radio navigation and so on branches of technique.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes constant value voltage source 1, load resistor 6, electronic tube 7, cathode resistor, filter capacitor 9, pulse modulator 10, insulated power source 11 for supplying incandescence filament. In order to increase stability of voltage, between ballast resistor 2 and circuit of several Zener diodes 3 electric current source 4 is connected in series. In order to provide high voltage level and its control range, cathode follower including electronic tube 7 is connected to outlet of stabilizer for pulse modulator 10. Control grid of said cathode follower is connected with outlet of emitter follower having transistor 5; its outlet voltage is regulated by means of resistance type voltage regulator 13. Emitter follower on base of transistor 5 provides stable voltage in predetermined range of electric current loads.

EFFECT: improved stabilizer providing high stable voltage in wide range of current and temperature values.
