FIELD: adjustment of synchronized signal to input signal.

SUBSTANCE: frequency-difference relay has frequency meter of input signal, meter of frequency of synchronized signal, constant coefficient multiplier, two comparators, two actuators, meters of amplitudes of synchronized and input signals, algebraic adder, inverter, divider, multiplier. Technical result consists in expansion of functional potential of relay as it responds to relative mismatch of frequencies of input and synchronized signals and in enhanced accuracy as effect of instability of amplitudes of synchronized and input signals is excluded.

EFFECT: expanded functional potential of relay.
