FIELD: automatic call handling in data transfer network.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method and system for dynamic change of voice and video signals mixing point in automatic call handling system incorporating provision for superposing telephone signals onto data transfer signals include establishment of first connection between agent's terminal of automatic call handling system and client's terminal wherein first connection has first voice signals transmitted from agent's terminal and second voice signals transferred from client's terminal. Upon reception of monitoring session request from supervisor's terminal of automatic call handling system agent's processor monitoring circuit finds out if agent's terminal has sufficient level of resources for mixing up samples of voice signals and video signals, if necessary. If resources of agent's processor are sufficient, call control device of agent's terminal interacts with that of supervisor's terminal to establish first monitoring connection. Agent's call control device checks up first connection for simultaneous transfer of voice and video signals from agent and client. Voice and video signal mixer functions to mix up voice and video signals simultaneously transmitted by agent and client which are conveyed through first monitoring connection to supervisor's terminal. If agent's processor resources are insufficient, agent's call control device finds out if network capacity is sufficient to establish second and third monitoring connections. If network capacity is sufficient, agent's call control device establishes second and third check-up connections to transfer first and second voice signals and video signals through them. Agent's processor is continuously monitored for level of resources within monitoring session. If agent's terminal processor has sufficient level of resources, voice signals are mixed up in agent's terminal.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of monitoring resources for mixing up voice and video signals.
