SINGLE-ROLL TOOTHED GRINDER Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: agglomerate grinding equipment used in agglomeration plants.

SUBSTANCE: single-roll toothed grinder has casing, feeding plate mounted in casing, roll with teeth inclined in direction opposite roll rotation direction. Teeth working surfaces have widened portion arranged at tooth base. Grates are made in the form of plates with two working parts, whose working surfaces are arranged at an angle of 90-140 deg with respect to one another. Grates rest upon box-shaped beam, which is arranged in grinder casing in parallel with toothed roll, and are fixed on said beam through U-shaped plates and stops. Grate working surfaces are made in the form of wedge. Width of grate working part in cross-section is reducing in direction of falling of ground material.

EFFECT: increased grinding efficiency, reduced labor intensity during repair works and operation of grinders and reduced downtime of equipment.
