FIELD: printing arts, applicable for production of securities and protection of them against forgery.
SUBSTANCE: printing elements 3 are produced in functional layer 1 of printing plate 2 by means of which the protective pattern is carried over to securities 4. Additional elements of protection (6) are produced at least on one section of side surface 5 of printing element 3 thus providing a change of the reflective capacity of zones 7 of ink layer 8 formed on securities 4 in the area of arrangement of additional elements of protection (6). The latters are produced by increasing the class of purity of the sections of side surface 5 of printing element 3 in the points of location of additional elements of protection (6) so as to obtain an effect of mirror reflection of light from respective zones 7 of ink layer 8 on securities 4. Zones 7 are reproduced on it by means of the sections of printing plate 2 from additional elements of protection (6). Printing plate 2 for realization of the method is featured by the fact that additional elements of protection (6) are made in the form of sections of side surface 5 of printing element 3 with a high class of purity with respect to the adjacent sections of surface 5. The class of purity of additional elements of protection (6) is selected proceeding from the condition of insurance of obtaining of the effect of mirror reflection of light from zones 7 of ink layer 8 on the securities that are reproduced on it by the sections of printing plate 2 from additional elements of protection (6). Securities 4 is featured by the face that the mentioned reflective capacity of zones 7 of location of its additional elements of protection is provided by making zones 7 with a high class of purity with respect to the adjacent sections of side surface 11 of embossed structure 10 of ink layer 8. The class of security of zones 7 of securities 4 is selected proceeding from the condition of obtaining of the effect of mirror reflection of light from zones 7 in the process of their reproduction on securities 4 by means of the sections of printing plate with a similar located of additional elements of protection 6.
