APPARATUS FOR SYNCHRONIZING OPERATION OF MACHINE COMPRISING INDIVIDUAL SECTIONS WITH DROP DELIVERY IN GLASS CAN FORMING SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2231500 C2

FIELD: glass can forming equipment.

SUBSTANCE: glass can forming system has machine comprising individual sections and plurality of sections adapted for receiving liquid glass drops and converting said drops into glass articles, liquid glass drop delivery device, distributor for sequential feeding of glass drops into individual sections, and device for synchronizing operation of sections with that of liquid glass drop feeding device. Synchronizing device has unit for generating feeding device index signal corresponding to delivery of glass drop for first of said sections, said unit being operatively connected to glass drop delivery device, machine cycle electronic device equipped with unit for generating index signal of machine for synchronizing operation of sections with respect to one another, unit for determining difference in real time between index signal of feeding device and index signal of said machine and for storing said difference value in time units, and unit for automatic retrieval of stored time difference, said unit being driven after starting of system, and device for time regulation of index signal of machine with respect to index signal of feeding device, with equal stored time being taken into account.

EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing automatic synchronization of operation after starting of machine and automatic maintaining of such synchronization.
