FIELD: oil and gas extractive industry.

SUBSTANCE: method includes selection of core sample, cutting of cylindrical sample in parallel to bedding, sample extraction by alcohol-benzene mixture, determining of gas permeability, filling with bed water at vacuum, setting of sample into core holder of plant, modeling of bed conditions, determining of permeability of bed water, pumping of water-repellent compound, exposure of sample after compound pumping, determining of permeability of bed water, then core sample weight is measured, it is filled with bed water at vacuum, its weight is measured, porosity level is determined, it is mounted in core holder of the plant, bed conditions are modeled, water-repellent compound is supplied, then included are exposure of sample up to finish of chemical reaction of water-repellent compound with examined rock, modeling of well completion process, determining of permeability of bed water, extraction of sample from core holder, saturation of sample at vacuum, measuring of weight of core, determining of porosity, calculation of coefficient of porous channels sealing on basis of porosity data.

EFFECT: higher precision of determining of water-repellent properties of compound providing for reliable isolation of watered ranges of oil and gas bearing beds.
