FIELD: armored equipment; heaters for armored object power plants.

SUBSTANCE: proposed heater has housing, combustion chamber, injector, heat exchanger, glow plug and intake air heating plug; semiconductor glow plug is fitted in zone of fuel jet of injector; combustion chamber is additionally provided with air supply passages; provision is made for electrical preheater for heating the air fed to injector.

EFFECT: reduction of time required for preparation and starting of heater; possibility of performing remote control; reduced consumption of fuel.
