FIELD: individual miner's equipment.
SUBSTANCE: proposed miner's lamp includes lamp proper and light-emitting diode matrix connected in series with resistors, unit for securing lamp on helmet storage battery body and connecting cord. Storage battery consists of two independent identical units located on outside of helmet symmetrically relative to plane of symmetry of helmet in position equalizing lamp relative helmet CG. Each unit consists of several small-sized cells, fuse and charge monitoring circuit which are located in hermetic housing provided with device for movably securing it on helmet. Negative electrodes of each unit are connected with negative external contact of lamp and first contact of switch. Second contact of switch is connected with cathodes of all light-emitting diodes. Positive electrodes of each unit are connected with resistors through fuse and with positive internal contact of lamp through charge monitoring circuit. Nickel metal hydride cells may be used as small-sized cells.
EFFECT: considerable reduction of mass; enhanced reliability.
