FIELD: individual lighting equipment for mines. SUBSTANCE: miner's lamp has head-lamp with light source, fixture for attaching lamp to miner's helmet, battery casing, and connecting cord. Light source is made in the form of light- emitting diode array emitting white light, light flux of one light- emitting diode being over 1 lumen. Light-emitting diodes are disposed on stiff plate, each in separate cell; each cell has parabolic reflector and spherical lens that contacts hemisphere surface of light-emitting diode and its diameter equals that of light-emitting diode case. Focuses of spherical lenses and parabolic reflectors are aligned with emitting centers of light-emitting diodes; spherical lenses are built integral with lamp window. EFFECT: enhanced illumination of miner's workplace and extended trouble-free operation period of lamp. 4 dwg
