FIELD: armament, in particular, military caterpillar vehicles provided with an antiaircraft defense system.
SUBSTANCE: the tank antiaircraft armament is made in the form of a self-contained antiaircraft system providing an all-round fire from the antiaircraft mounting by the tank commander or layer within relative bearings from 0 to 360 deg. The antiaircraft mounts are positioned on the sides of the tank turret. Each of them is positioned in an armored small turret, installed by means of a wheel brace on a platform fastened on the side of the turret and is provided with individual training and elevating drives. The training drive mechanism is bound up with the above wheel brace. The antiaircraft mounts are synchronized in laying for automatic disengagement of any of them from synchronization in elevation and bringing to an elevation angle for free rotation of the antiaircraft mount in the horizontal plane.
EFFECT: enhanced combat efficiency of the tank.
