FIELD: heat power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to control over content of corrosion-dangerous organic compounds in water-steam paths of thermal power sets with steam boilers, especially of thermal power sets of supercritical pressure with straight-through boilers. In addition to control over content of corrosion-dangerous organic compounds by value of ratio of values of conductivity correspondingly of live steam and feed water there are found relations of conductivity of medium in water-and-steam path across intermediate sections of increment of temperature of medium. Control is carried out with due account of these relations across each specified section. In this case change of conductivity of medium in water-and-steam path across intermediate sections is controlled in temperature ranges 30-160; 160-280; 280-440; 440-545; 300-545 C. Across evaporation sections of steam boiler relation of values of conductivity of medium should not exceed and across steam-overheating sections it should be
EFFECT: establishment of quantitative index of increased content of organic compounds, location of specific points of penetration of organic impurities into steam-and-water path to take measures for their removal.
