FIELD: analytical instrumentation, methods of flame-photometric detection in gas chromatography.
SUBSTANCE: carrier gas with components of divided specimen is supplied to burning zone over central conduit, oxygen is fed through conduit positioned outside of central conduit and hydrogen is fed through conduit located outside of oxygen conduit. In this case there is established relation of heights of butt surface of conduit for oxygen and conduit for carrier gas with components of divided specimen.
EFFECT: increased sensitivity and selectivity of technique as compared with methods utilizing known variants of gas mixing, reduced threshold of detection of mercaptans in oil, for example.
