FIELD: the invention refers to optical technique.
SUBSTANCE: the two-tip photometric detector for gas chromatography has an inner burner with a central opening for forming low flame. An exterior burner for forming upper flame, a body, a t-joint. An optical window, an optical filter, a radiation set. The body has a reflector in the shape of an ellipsoid whose optical axle passes through the zone of upper flame and an input into the radiation set. The first focus of the ellipsoid is in the zone of upper flame and the distance between the second focus of ellipsoid to the radiation set equals ▵x2,=(2,6±2)mm. The invention allows to increases sensitiveness of the detector due to increase of the share of energy collected by the reflector and compensation of spherical aberration of the optical system introduced by the optical window and the optical filter, by displacement of the axles of the burners and the radiation set relatively to geometrical focuses of the reflector.
EFFECT: increases sensitiveness of the detector.
