FIELD: microwave ovens.
SUBSTANCE: proposed microwave oven that incorporates provision for steady excitation of more than 26 spatial harmonics
has heating chamber whose top and side walls carry on their external surfaces horizontally positioned L-shaped section of rectangular waveguide short-circuited at end and designed to transfer energy from microwave oscillator to strip-line antenna emitting circular-polarization waves and connected through coaxial-waveguide adapter to vertically positioned section of mentioned waveguide and to metal dipole antenna set in rotary motion by fan-produced air stream. Antennas are provided with in-phase power supply. Symmetry axes of antennas are relatively orthogonal; coordinates of connection point of strip-line antenna is aligned with that of symmetry point of heating-chamber side wall; coordinates of connection point of dipole antenna is aligned with that of symmetry point of heating-chamber top wall.
EFFECT: improved uniformity of microwave filed energy distribution in heating chamber.
