FIELD: household appliances.

SUBSTANCE: proposed microwave oven, hereinafter referred to as oven, has heating chamber with door, revolving platform, and removable unit whose case accommodates generator with power supply, coaxial microwave energy transfer line, and module for exciting electromagnetic field within heating chamber which is, essentially, stripline antenna of circularly polarized field with radiator in the form of round metal disk disposed in coupling aperture on side wall of heating chamber .Opposite side wall of heating chamber is movable and its translational motion is afforded by gear mechanism whose driving gear partially protrudes from slit in oven control panel and is accessible for user. Most efficient mode of oven operation is attained by displacing movable wall of heating chamber which actually functions to adjust cavity resonator to load using readings of indicator built around three thermal converters installed in coupling apertures in upper wall of heating chamber on vertex of triangle having side length of 12.8 cm whose symmetry center is aligned with that of heating-chamber upper wall. Microwave unit of proposed medium complies with following basic requirements to such devices: (a) high-quality matching between generator and load in the form of interconnected coaxial line, stripline antenna, and heating chamber with product being treated (loaded resonator); (b) negligible response of generator to changes in volume and mass of product being treated. That is why following operating parameters are attained: uniformity factor of microwave energy distribution α, minimum 98%; efficiency η, minimum 56%.

EFFECT: enhanced uniformity coefficient of microwave energy distribution and enhanced oven efficiency.
