FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has flow canal having inlet and outlet, heater for warming the flow canal; source connected to flow canal inlet and containing material to be evaporated, valve for opening and closing connection between material source and flow canal inlet; and compression system forcing the material containing in the source to enter the flow canal from the material source when the valve is open. The aerosol generator additionally has power source for setting the generator in action and the valve and control unit for controlling power supply from power source to the heater and valve. Dosing unit in inhalator comprises medicament fluid under pressure and dosing chamber for delivering given fluid volume into heatable flow canal in the inhalator.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in delivering drug to patient lungs.
