FIELD: earth-moving machinery; automation of digging process.
SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method conditions of earth cutting in mass by entire length of blade of working member or its angle are set by means of multicontact change-over switch. Current values of cutting depth, angles of cutting and coverage of working member blade, speed of machine and delivery of energy carrier into engine are measured by analog transducers. Current values of cross section area of earth cut out of mass, and capacity and energy index of earth-digging process are determined for preset cutting conditions. Signs of increments of current values of earth-digging process index and cutting depth are simultaneously found and, basing of result of comparing, control action is generated in working member control unit which is supplied to working member penetration-raising operating mechanism to change depth of cutting and provide digging at maximum energy index.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of earth digging owing to optimization of process and maximum use of energy potential of machine to get maximum amount of earth cut out of mass per unit of consumed energy carrier.
