FIELD: aircraft industry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed air-jet engine contains two-wall exhaust unit connected to engine housing by flange joint, terminating in outlet hole of jet nozzle and consisting of outer and inner conical ferrules. Through ports with turnable reversible flaps are made in housing of exhaust unit, being arranged diametrically opposite to each other. Flaps are connected with drive systems, being provided with outer and inner conical walls. Sections between through ports on inner ferrule of exhaust unit are made with flat walls. Inner conical wall of each reversible flap has flat partition of trapezoidal shape. Flat partitions are secured on axle-shafts arranged between ferrules of exhaust unit. Axle-shafts are in contact with brackets through spherical joints. Brackets are secured from one side on inner ferrule, and from other side are mated with splines on inner diameter of eccentric bushings on outer cylindrical surfaces of toothed sectors are fitted. Said toothed sectors are connected in tandem with outer end of lever. Lip is cantilever-mounted on engine flange inside exhaust unit. Housing of lip is equidistant over entire perimeter of inner ferrule housing.
EFFECT: provision of minimum leakage of gas at opening of ports and required degree of engine reversing at subsonic pressure differential in jet nozzle.
