FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: during reverser operation, air is released from an engine through reverse hatches located in an upper part of the engine. In reverse hatches, outlet windows are installed in the form of rectangular frames, planes of which are installed at an angle of 45° to a vertical plane of symmetry of the engine. At the same time, it is possible to release air in the following way: horizontally sideways for aircraft landing in crosswind conditions, vertically for pressing the aircraft to a runway after chassis touching and reverse braking itself due to the release of air forward and upward from reverse hatches due to the release of reverse nozzles outside an engine shell to a counter airflow. Change in a direction of an airflow is performed by an array of guiding blades, as well as by release of frames of reverse nozzles, walls of which are made of air-impermeable fabric, to the counter airflow outside the engine shell.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of a thrust reverser.
