SUBSTANCE: proposed device and method provide for measuring propagation time delay in mobile narrow-band code-division communication system. To this end user equipment enters in synchronism with station B by means of downlink pilot-channel signal transferred during cannel interval of downlink pilot channel and measures estimating value T1 of two-way delay at the same time comparing transmitted power of common physical channel signal during first channel interval with received power of common physical channel signal.
