FIELD: mobile communications.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method is intended for evaluating transfer power of second-bit transmission-format combination identifier (TFCI) pointing to information about data transport format over shared downlink channel transferred from chosen center B to user equipment (UE) in mobile communication system incorporating UE residing in service transmission area and plurality of B centers in active UE set. B centers transfer data on allocated channels including first TFCI bit to UE over definite channels. First B center transfers allocated channel data over allocated channel and also data on shared downlink channel over shared downlink channel. First B center determines second TFCI bit transfer power level exceeding ratio of data transfer power of allocated channel from center B transmitting allocated channel data only to first TFCI bit transmission power. Device implementing this method makes it possible for UE to receive downlink channel signal and to correctly receive TFCI for downlink channel signal in soft service transfer area.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability of transmission format combination indicator transfer.
